I saw a flyer for this the other day, so I thought I would post the info here.

5K run to open day of festivities for new WellStar Paulding Hospital

 

Registration is now open for the WellStar Paulding Hospital Grand Opening 5K Walk/Run, which is set for March 22 at 8 a.m.

 

The event will kick off a full day of celebration of the opening of WellStar Paulding Hospital in its new location at the corner of U.S. Hwy. 278 and Bill Carruth Parkway in Hiram.

 

Other events scheduled include:

 

- Family fun day with games, food and prizes at noon.

 

- Evening concert featuring country music artist John Pardi at 7 p.m.

 

- Fireworks after dark

I am going (a family member works for a sponsor). But I will probably not be walking and most definitely will NOT be running.

 

Still, undoubtedly a welcome kickoff to outdoor activities.
