Anthony Melillo, age 82, of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. He was born on March 7, 1931, in New York, to the late Daniel and Rose Melillo. Mr. Melillo was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed baseball, fishing and the New York Yankees.

 

Survivors include, wife, of 63 years, Mary Melillo of Dallas, GA; daughters and son-in-laws, Rose Marie & Frank Moffa of New Windsor, NY, JoAnn Gulas of Lawrenceville, GA, and Maria & James Hegarty of Dallas, GA; ; sister and brother-in-law, Lucille & Joe Bianchi of Bronx, NY; brothers, John Melillo of Sugarloaf, NY, and Fred Melillo of Bronx, NY; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 12 p.m., from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 29, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and Saturday, November 30, 2013, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
