Jarrett Lee Williams, age 18, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013. He was born on June 7, 1995, and was the son of Danny and Sherry Williams. Jarrett was 2013 graduate of East Paulding High School. He was currently attending Tennessee Temple University on a Sports Scholarship for Discus Throwing and enjoyed attending classes at the university. Jarrett attended Hope United Methodist Church in Dallas.

 

Survivors include parents, Danny & Sherry Williams of Dallas, GA; sister, Jessica Louise Williams of Dallas, GA; brother, Jacob Arthur Williams of San Antonio, TX; girlfriend, Nikki Vaughn of Dallas, GA; grandparents, Edgar & Gerry McCarty of Marietta, GA, and Leonard Felix of Floresville, TX; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at 2 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Frank Bernat officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 23, 2013, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

 

In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund will be set in Jarrett’s memory at Tennessee Temple University and donations can be made to the Tennessee Temple University, 1815 Union Ave., Chattanooga, TN, 37404, attention Dr. Steve Echols.

This is so sad, he was a friend of my sons. May he rest in peace. Jarrett, you got your wings!!!
