Ronnie Bennett

Ronnie Bennett, age 54, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013. He was born on March 9, 1959, in Austell, GA, and was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Bennett, and two infant siblings. Mr. Bennett attended Pumpkinvine Baptist Church and was employed with National Asbestos Workers with Local 48 for over 30 years. Ronnie was an avid NASCAR fan and outdoorsman, deer hunter, a hard working and loving family man, taking care of all those near and dear to him.

 

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Melanie Forsyth Bennett; daughter, Jamie Christina Bennett; father, Richard Lee Bennett; brother, Dan Bennett; sister, Melissa Bennett, all of Dallas; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at 2 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Travis Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. Danny Harris, Blake Forsyth, Tim Wilson, Jeff Lee, Richie House, Kyle Pitts, Kyle Harris, and Michael Entrekin will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 2, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

I think his mom passed away a couple of weeks ago. How sad for this family.
