Clark Funeral Home Posted March 31, 2013 Report Share Posted March 31, 2013 Virginia Gulledge Carroll, age 79, of Dallas, GA passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013. She was born on March 26, 1934 in Marietta, Georgia to the late Earl and Ola Burtz. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Carroll. Mrs. Carroll was a member of Unity Baptist Church, in Dallas, GA. She loved flower gardens and her church and family. Survivors include her sons, Dale Gulledge of Powder Springs, GA, Perry Gulledge of Dallas, GA, and Gary and Susie Gulledge of Hiram, GA; a daughter, Peggy and Bill Alvey of Cedartown, GA; brother, Vernon and Mary Burtz of Louisville, KY; sisters, Omea Beam of Dallas, GA, Ruth Hagan of Hiram, GA, Billie and Gary Beam of Acworth, GA, and Alice and Roby Kanatzer of Powder Springs, GA; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Carroll will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church, Dallas, GA with Reverend Donald Voyles officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Jaron Cole, Jordan Cole, Garrett Rodgers, Zach Rodgers, Justin Kleindienst, James Gulledge and Jeremy Gulledge serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 1, 2013 from 4:00 8:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
