Clark Funeral Home Posted February 22, 2013 Report Share Posted February 22, 2013 Tiffaney Lynn Mathis, age 31, of Dallas, GA passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013. She was born on August 23, 1981 in Atlanta. Tiffaney was a graduate of Pebblebrook High School where she was a member of the Beta Club, the math team, the marching band and the orchestra. She had attended Kennesaw State University and Mercer University and worked as a Para Pro for 10 years with 6 years at Van Wert Elementary School in Polk County. Tiffaney loved to read and was a very active member of New Life Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James Mathis of Dallas; a daughter, Amelia Ruth Mathis of Dallas; her parents, Billy & Tamara Gann of Dallas; a sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly & Samuel Bass of Rockmart; grandparents, George and Norma McDowell of Kennesaw; nephew, Liam Bass of Rockmart. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Brother Vermon Parmer and Brother Billy Bell officiating. The interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery with David Pace, Scott McDowell, D. J. Morgan, Monty Day, Dan Smith, Mike Bell and Chris Bone serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
