Funeral Director Posted February 16, 2013 Report Share Posted February 16, 2013 (edited) Mrs. Florica Ferche, age 41 of Dallas passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain. Mrs. Ferche was born on March 6, 1971 in Oradea, Romania, the daughter of George Herdean and Cornelia Herdean of Madison Heights, MI. She was a member of the Fortified Hills Baptist Church where she served her church and community by working with the youth. She enjoyed biking and jogging and loved the outdoors. Mrs. Ferche is survived by her husband, Flaviu Ferche; a son, Felix Ferche; parents, George and Cornelia Herdean; two sisters, Corina Vintila of Birmingham, AL and Eleonora Herdean of New Jersey; five brothers, Nick Herdean of Michigan, Doru Herdean of Romania, John Herdean of Michigan, Daniel Herdean of California and George Herdean of Romania; Father in law and Mother in law, Alexandru and Maria Ferche of Romania; and many other uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Ferche will be held on Sunday,February 17, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Fortified Hills Baptist Church with Dr.Dewey Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in the Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The Deacons from Fortified Hills Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Felix Ferche College Fund, 14 Stable Lane, Dallas, GA 30132. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 4 -9 pm.
