Funeral Director Posted January 4, 2013 Report Share Posted January 4, 2013 Mr. Truman Talmadge Sosebee, age 69, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. Truman was born on January 16, 1943, in Yorkville, Georgia, to loving parents the late Mr. Willie Emmitt Sosebee, and Mrs. Mary Eula Allgood Sosebee. He was employed with the Paulding County Board of Commissioners as a Building Inspector for 24 years until retirement. He also worked for Stuart Reed Heating and Air Conditioning in Austell and later with Rainwater Heating and Air. Truman enjoyed watching TV, and gardening. He loved to shop at Wal-Mart. He was a great handi-man and always ready to help his friends and family. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Truman Sosebee is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Mrs. Gilda P. Sosebee of Hiram, GA; twin daughters Ms. Tina Sosebee Jones of Douglasville, GA, and Mr. & Mrs. Brian (Tracy) Reed of Spring Hill, FL; two sons Mr. & Mrs. Paul (Cindy) Sosebee of Alpharetta, GA, and Mr. & Mrs. William (Rhonda) Sosebee of Yorkville, GA; five grandchildren Zane Sosebee, Beau Sosebee, Hannah Thomson, Chloe Reed, and Randall Reed; two sisters Mrs. Jean Roach of Hiram, GA, and Mrs. Willie Mae Mason of Stockbridge, GA; three brothers Mr. Harold Sosebee of Villa Rica, GA, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Dianne) Sosebee, and Mr. & Mrs. Leon (Elsie) Sosebee all of Dallas, GA; many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. His funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 2 pm with Reverend Dwayne Hewitt officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart and will include the selection Amazing Grace. William Edward Sosebee, Paul Brian Sosebee, Patric Huston, William Thomason, Brian Lee Reed, and Gary Scott Reddish will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 4 – 9 pm and Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 9 am until the funeral hour.
