Graveside Services for Mrs. Alidean Leggett Carter age 85 of Hiram, Ga. will be held on Monday October 22, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from the Dallas Memory Gardens with Mr. Wendell Eberhart officiating and Mr. Jim Morris offering Prayer.

 

Mrs. Carter's Family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday October 21, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

 

Survivors include:

 

Daughter: Mr. Sandra Carter Smith of Hiram, Ga.

 

Son: Mr. & Mrs. Steven (Tiffany) Carter of Hiram, Ga.

 

Grandchildren: Heather M. Smith of Hiram, Ga., Jenica Carter of Hiram, Ga., Mr. & Mrs. Mason (Kelly) McElwaney of Douglasville, Ga., and Alyssa McElwaney of Hiram, Ga.

 

Great Grandchildren: Kayla Jules Smith of Hiram, Ga. and Zoey McElwaney of Douglasville, Ga.

 

Step Mother: Mrs. Stella Leggett of Hiram, Ga.

 

Step Brother: Mr. Freddie Potts of Dallas, Ga.

 

Sister In Law: Mrs. Myrtle Carter of Dallas, Ga.

SHe was a great lady and a mother to lots of us who grew up at the skating rink back in the 70's and 80's.

 

My thoughts are with her family, whom I have always thought very highly of.

I am so sad to hear about this. I loved that lady. I grew up at the skating rink where her and Mr. carter use to run the door. It was sad when he passed away. they are missed greatly
