Funeral Director Posted June 7, 2012 Report Share Posted June 7, 2012 Mrs. Alice Diane King, age 56 of Rockmart Georgia was pronounced DOA on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. Mrs. Alice King was born on August 5, 1955 in Chicago, IL to loving parents Mr. Raymond Howard Needy and Mrs. Wavel Myers Needy. Alice was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker, this was expressed by her many talents. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, cake decorating, cooking, and canning. She attended Mighty Fortress Lutheran Church in Powder Springs, GA. She was employed by Publix for several years and Cryolife for the last 10 years. Mrs. Alice King is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Mr. Mark Allen King of Rockmart, GA; three daughters Mr. & Mrs. Mark (Secilanne) Amlotte of Dallas, GA, Mr. & Mrs. Neal (Erin) Humphreys of Duluth, GA, and Mr. & Mrs. William (Gail) Brewer of Rockmart, GA; five grandchildren Tyler Jorgenson, Sydney Amlotte, Grace Brewer, Jack Brewer, and Josie Brewer; parents Mr. & Mrs. Raymond (Wavel) Needy of Gardner, IL; two sisters Mr. & Mrs. Ken (Dawn) Luzbetak of Bremerton, WA and Mrs. Sharon Bernico of Braidwood, IL; brother and sister in law Mr. & Mrs. Rex (Sandy) King of Braidwood, IL; as well as many other beloved family members and friends. The body of Mrs. King will be cremated. There are no memorial arrangements scheduled at this time.
