She was born in Dallas, GA, July 13, 1927, to the late, James Monroe Swafford and the late, Hexie Frances Swafford and was also preceded in death by her husband, Hulan Turner. Mrs. Turner was retired as a nurses aide, from WellStar Paulding Hospital. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Jimmy Turner & wife, Dianne of Douglasville, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Sue Johns & husband, Randy of Snellville, GA; brother & sister-in-law, Dennis Swafford & wife, Juanita of Villa Rica, GA; grandchildren, Jeff Johns (Lisa), Kevin Johns, and Karen Sudan (Dathan); great-grandson, Eric Johns; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 26, 2012, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Rick Eaves officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
