Rev. Kenneth Arthur Cantrell age 68 of Dallas, Georgia passed away on January 8, 2012 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital.

 

Rev. Kenneth Arthur Cantrell was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 19, 1943 to loving parents the late Mr. Emory Taylor Cantrell and Mrs. Clydia Marie Brooks Cantrell. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Ruark.

 

Rev. Cantrell was a member of New Vision Full Gospel. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, camping and the mountains..

 

Rev.. Cantrell is survived by his wife Mrs. Shirley B. Cantrell of Dallas, GA. Four daughters, Darleen and Robert Terry of Rockmart, GA. Andrea and John Bradberry of Rockmart, GA. Tina Echols of Dallas, GA. Kathie and Ryan Carroll of Rockmart, GA. Eleven grandchildren, Christopher and Terra Stafford of Dallas, GA. Courtney and Mickey Haynes of Douglasville, GA. Brian and Crystal Newton of Dallas, GA. Brandon Donaldson of Rockmart, GA. Tyler Guy of Rockmart, GA. Colby and Robyn Harrison of Dallas, GA. Randy Echols of Dallas, GA. Jason and Jennifer Castille of Rockmart, GA. Justin and Stephanie Steed of Dallas, GA. Ryan Carroll,Jr. of Rockmart, GA. and Magan Carroll of Rockmart, GA. Nine great grandchildren and one sister Colleen Durden of Lawrenceville, GA Many nieces, nephews and other beloved family members and friends.

 

Funeral services for Rev. Kenneth Arthur Cantrell will be held in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 2 PM with Reverend Robert Hulsey and Rev. Robert Cheek officiating. Pall bearers will include Justin Steed, Chris Stafford, Brandon Donaldson, Randy Echols, Tyler Guy and Brian Newton. Honorary pall bearer Ryan Carroll, Jr. Interment will follow at Melrose Memorial Park Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 12 Noon - 9 PM and on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 9 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM.
