Olin Hixon

Mr. Olin Hixon, age 72 of Dallas, GA. passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011at Wellstar Douglas Hospital.

 

Mr. Hixon was born on June 13, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late Mr. Clark Hixon and Mrs. Lula Mae Lowe Hixon. Mr. Hixon worked as a night manager for BP Oil Company. He enjoyed playing golf and was a big football fan.

 

Mr. Hixon is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lana Joyce Hixon of Dallas, GA; one daughter Stephanie Diane and Byran Crutchfield of Burton, AL. Three grandchildren James Crutchfield, Melissa Crutchfield and William Crutchfield all of Alabama. One great grandchild Joseph Mitchell Crutchfield of Al. One sister Zora Camp of Rossville, Ga., many nieces and nephews and beloved family and friends.

 

Mr. Hixon is preceded in death by his beloved parents Mr. Clark Hixon and Mrs. Lula Mae Lowe Hixon, three brothers Marvin Hixon, Clark Hixon, Jr. and Harold Cole Hixon.

 

Memorial services for Mr. Olin Hixon will be conducted on Sunday, September 18, 2011at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Cole officiating.

 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM.
