Clark Funeral Home Posted May 24, 2011 Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) Grace Wynell Blalock, age 86, of Dallas, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011. She was born on April 6, 1925, in Ball Ground, GA, to the late Samuel and Kate Wilkie, and was preceded in death by her husband, Nubert Blalock. Mrs. Blalock retired from Paulding Memorial Hospital as a dietician, and was a member of New Hope First Baptist Church. Survivors include, sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne & Gayle Blalock, of Dallas, and Roger & Melanie Blalock of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, James & Charlcy Wilkie of Ball Ground, GA; sister-in-law, Donna Jean Cochran of Jasper, GA; grandchildren, Amanda & Jeffrey Wenkel, Travis & Elise Blalock, Alisa Blalock, Katie & Adam Mills, and Clifton Blalock; great-grandchildren, Caroline Wenkel and Owyn Wenkel; niece, Audrey Roberts, and nephew, Tony Wilkie. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at 2 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Durwood Perry officiating. Travis Blalock, Clifton Blalock, Adam Mills, Tony Wilkie, Jeffrey Wenkel, and Trey Wadsworth will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. soccerfarmer Posted May 24, 2011 Report Share Posted May 24, 2011 So sorry to hear of Mrs. Blalock's passing. I work at Dallas Tire and she always brought her car to us. I enjoyed talking to her. She even brought us some fried pies not long ago that were delicious. She was a very sweet lady. Prayers are with the family. Link to post Share on other sites
