Mr. Rickey Loyd Hitchcock

Mr. Rickey Loyd Hitchcock, age 63 of Villa Rica, GA passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 2, 2011.

 

 

 

Mr. Hitchcock was born on March 9, 1948 in Austell, GA, the son of the late Reuben Hitchcock and Mary Etta Hicks Hitchcock. Mr. Hitchcock worked as an assembly line worker for General Motors for many years. In his spare time Mr. Hitchcock enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading, and watching movies.

 

 

 

Mr. Hitchcock is survived by his wife, Mrs. Joanne Cohran Hitchcock of Villa Rica, GA; mother in law, Mrs. Louise Cohran of Hiram, GA, and several cousins.

 

 

 

Mr. Hitchcock is preceded in death by his beloved parents Mr. Reuben Hitchcock and Mrs. Mary Etta Hicks Hitchcock and his father in law Mr. Alton “Coon” Cohran.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mr. Rickey Hitchcock will be conducted on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. James Smith officiating. Music will be provided by Ramona Waters and Frank Hulsey. Pall bearers will include Gerald Wix, Rudell Morris, Ricky Wix, Jamie House, Daryl Power and James Edwards. Interment will follow at Shipp Cemetery in Hiram, GA.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 4-9 pm and Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 9 am until the service begins at 2 pm.
