Looks like the budget is a big deal and the governor thinks it is important too. The problem is that we can't afford the feel good laws that "get tough" on crime. My Link If anything should be a top priority, it should be to keep us safe. Getting tough on criminals is absolutely a priority. As long as that is the purpose, I am fine with it. Let's wait and see.
