Casey J McBryde, age 38, of Dallas, GA, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011. The son of Leon & Linda McBryde, he was born in Fayetteville, NC, on February 7, 1973. Casey attended James River High School in Buchanan, VA and was a 1998 graduate of Georgia Tech, with a degree in Engineering. He worked for P. E. T. Terra Systems for 6 years as a mechanical engineer. Casey loved his 1969 Ford Bronco and his dog “Bandit”. He was a member of West Ridge Church.

Survivors include his wife, Wendy Anderson McBryde; sons, Ty McBryde of Dallas, GA and Cooper “Zipper” McBryde of Dallas, GA; parents, Leon & Linda McBryde of Buchanan, VA; and brother, Adam McBryde of Buchanan, VA.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 13, 2011, at 4:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Hal Cole officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:30 PM until 4:00 PM.

My heart is breaking over the loss of Casey. He has a beautiful family and it hurts so bad to see those little boys losing their father. Please, keep the McBrydes in your thoughts and prayers. Casey was a wonderful person and a devoted father and husband. He is going to be sorely missed by all that knew him. His courage and attitude while fighting cancer has been an inspiration to everyone who witnessed it.
