Clark Funeral Home Posted December 30, 2010 Report Share Posted December 30, 2010 (edited) Samuel Sanders “Sandy” Green, age 52, of Douglasville (Paulding County), GA, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010. He was born June 13, 1958 in Marietta, GA, to Howard Watson Green, Sr. & Edna Mae Green. Mr. Green was a member of West Ridge Church. Survivors include his wife, Sherri Lyn Green; sons, Michael Sanders Green of Marietta, GA and Samuel Joshua Green of Douglasville, GA; daughter, Emily Green Phillips of Douglasville, GA; parents, Howard Watson Green, Sr. & Edna Mae Green of Smyrna, GA; brother, Greg Green of Smyrna, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Jane & Vance Frew of Cedartown, GA; and grandchild, Adisyn Phillips. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 2, 2011, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home,with Reverend Brian Bloye and Reverend Joe Pritchard officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 1, 2011, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
