Mrs. Tanya Renee Evans, age 36 of Dallas, GA passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at her home.

 

 

 

Mrs. Evans was born February 5, 1974, the daughter of Robert Abernathy and the late Diane May Abernathy. She enjoyed arts and crafts.

 

 

 

Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband Mike Evans of Dallas, GA, one son Cody Evans of Dallas, GA, father Robert Abernathy of Douglasville, GA, two sisters, Kelly Jackson of Douglasville, GA, Wendy Wheeler of Claxton, GA. one brother, Bryan Abernathy of Virginia and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 

 

 

Mrs. Evans is preceded in death by her mother Diane May Abernathy.

 

 

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Tanya Renee Evans will be conducted on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Shattles officiating. Music will be provided by Ernie Warren. Pall bearers will include John Summerfield, Joseph Wheeler, Cory Jackson, Brian Abernathy, Chris Fowler, Chris Gravett and Jamie West. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens, Hiram, Georgia.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 4:00PM to 9:00PM and Thursday, November 4, 2010 from 9:00 AM until time of service.

I don't know Tanya personally. But, I do know several of her friends. If one is defined by the company that one keeps, then she was one amazing lady. She has some amazing friends.

 

Rest in Peace, Tanya. The battle is over. And, you got the greatest prize there is - heaven.
