Paulding Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Georgia's Vince Dooley at August 5th (Thursday), Georgia Power / Paulding Chamber Luncheon

Georgia's legendary coach and athletic director, Vince Dooley, brings his latest book tour to the August 5th Georgia Power Luncheon.

 

The luncheon will be held at the Paulding County Senior Community Center with the event being sponsored by Credit Union of Georgia.

 

Coach Dooley's latest book "Vince Dooley's Garden, The Horticultural Journey of a Football Coach" shares his zest for gardening and explains how his knowledge started late but stretches across the world, unquenched. The journey sometimes grazes his football career.

 

"We are excited to host Coach Dooley in Paulding County," says Carolyn Delamont, President/CEO of the Paulding Chamber, "and are looking forward to his presentation."

 

The Coach will have his latest book for sale and in addition, "Dooley-My Forty Years at Georgia," "Tales of the 1980 National Champions," "How Bout Them Dawgs," and "Then Vince said to Herschel".

 

Fans may also purchase collectors' prints, caps and Bulldog bottle poppers. One book, "How Bout Them Dawgs," is written especially for children up to age seven. Cash or checks will be accepted only.

 

Coach Dooley will be available until 4:00 pm to visit with guests and autograph books and Bulldog memorabilia.
