Edna F. Bell, age 83, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010. She was born in Cobb County, April 13, 1927, and was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Flora Florence; her husband, Doyle Bell; and a son, Frank Bell. Mrs. Bell was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where she was the pianist for many years.

Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Mike & Marva Bell of Carrollton, GA and Tim & Lynn Bell of Dallas, GA; daughters & son-in-law, Susan Bell of Powder Springs, GA and Pam & Mike Emerson of Bishop, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Reverend Moses & Gail Florence of Powder Springs, GA and William & Carol Florence of Powder Springs, GA; sisters & brothers-in-law, Jo Ann Smith of Douglasville, GA, Jackie & Jack Wright of Douglasville, GA and Rose & Chuck Hart of Hiram, GA; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 22, 2010, at 2:00 PM, from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Reverend Lamar Rackley and Reverend Moses Florence officiating. (Mrs. Bell will lie-in-state at the church on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the service time). Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with Chuck Hart, Zack Bell, Josh Bell, Andy Hill, Jordan Bell and Michael Bruner serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
