+DeborahS
A Career Fair is being held at South Paulding High School on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 9 :00am to 1:00pm Our goal is to inform our students of career opportunities that are available to them. As an important part of the community, we invite you to participate in this event and help educate our students about opportunities in your career area. This is an opportunity for students to learn about careers... it is not about particular job opportunities. Booth space at the fair is free and lunch will be provided. Please contact Carole Golden, Career Tech Department Chair and Work-Based Learning Coordinator at South Paulding High School by phone at 770-949-9221 or email at cgolden@paulding.k12.ga.us for more information or to register for the Career Fair. MillCreek
Not sure if the Career Fair is "limited" to 11th / 12th graders, or if 9th - 12th is included..... I'll be there tomorrow, participating ( TheMillCreek.net Web Design )-- from what I understand, it's NOT a Job Fair, but for the students to find out about different careers and/or educational opportunties. Some of the companies that I'm "aware of" that will be there, include the following -- University of West Georgia Chattahoochie Technical College Regions Bank Paulding County Sheriff's Department Superior Steps Members First Georgia Elite Institute of Aesthetics Georgia Perimeter College Optimum Health Rehab Georgia Dept of Labor Sylvan of West Georgia U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marines TC Pics Douglas County Bank Wachovia Bank PRA Staffing Greystone Power Jostens Life College Jacksonville State University Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Columbus State University Ostrow Family Chiropractic I'm definitely looking forward to it!!
