Mrs. Julia Johnson, age 72, of Concord, GA, formerly of Dallas, GA passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2005. She was born on June 19, 1932 to the late William and Pauline McConnell. She was a homemaker and of the United Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert “Gil” Austin Johnson and her daughter, Janet Johnson Cole.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Lamar and Greta Johnson of Thomaston, GA, Rev. Larry and Dorine Johnson of Ballground, GA, LaVaughn and Donna Johnson of Dallas, GA and Lorne and Rebecca Johnson of Temple, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Rev. Jimmy Driskell of Aragon, GA, Lola and Rev. Ken Formby of Villa Rica, GA and Sandra Johnson Jones of Williamson, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Davis of Flomaton, AL and Ouida and Tom Starbuck of Mechanicsville, MD; 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA with Reverend Larry Johnson, Reverend Ken Formby and Reverend Jimmy Driskell officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
