Clark Funeral Home Posted December 10, 2009 Report Share Posted December 10, 2009 Betty Sue Bishop, age 75, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was born September 21, 1934 in Chesnee, SC, to the late, James Preston Owensby and the late, Bell Jackson Owensby. Mrs. Bishop had worked in the textile industry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard R. Bishop. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Dennis Bishop & wife, Yvonne of Hiram, GA and David Bishop, Sr. & wife, Peggy of Covington, GA; brother, David Owensby of Spartanburg, SC; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 13, 2009, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend James Lollis officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
