No warnings, just be aware that the weather may turn sour.TORNADO WATCHIssue Date: 1212 AM EST WED DEC 09 2009Expiration: 700 AM EST WED DEC 09 2009THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH 800 IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST THIS MORNING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA INCLUDING DOUGLAS, BARTOW, CARROLL, CATOOSA, CHATTOOGA, DADE, FLOYD, GORDON, HARALSON, MURRAY, PAULDING, POLK, WALKER AND WHITFIELD COUNTIES.WIND ADVISORY ...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A WIND ADVISORY.IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM TO 6 PM EST WEDNESDAY. FOR ALL OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA EXCEPT THE NORTHEAST MOUNTAINS.SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL STRENGTHEN THIS AFTERNOON...IN RESPONSE TO A STRENGTHENING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE CENTRAL UNITED STATES. AN ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL CROSS GEORGIA ON WEDNESDAY. STRONG AND GUSTY WEST WINDS BEHIND THIS FRONT WILL DEVELOP ACROSS NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.
