Mrs. Jessie Lee Davis age 77 of Dallas, Ga. passed away on Tuesday October 13, 2009. Mrs. Davis was born on July 21, 1932 the daughter of the late Andrew Hitchcock and Myrtice Rutledge. She was employed with the Paulding County Board of Education as a substitute teacher and was previously employed at Lockheed for many years. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her loved ones.

 

 

 

Mrs. Jessie Lee Davis is survived by her husband Mr. Albert Davis of Dallas, Ga; 2 daughters and sons in law Mr. and Mrs. Steve (Darlene) Beatty and Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Leigh Ann) Anderson both of Dallas, Ga; 2 grandsons Mr. & Mrs. Micah (Megan) Beatty of Kennesaw, Ga and Tyler Anderson of Dallas, Ga; and 2 great grandchildren Payton Beatty and Ava Beatty. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Andrew Hitchcock and Myrtice Rutledge Hitchcock.

 

 

 

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday October 15, 2009 at 3 PM at New Canaan Baptist Church with Reverend Chad Cooper and Reverend Donald Rackley officiating. Music will be provided by Buck Coalson. Pall Bearers will include Phillip Wallace, Gerald Pinion Sr., Gerald Pinion Jr., Lawrence Bowman, Tommy Holland, and Scott Davis. Interment will follow at New Canaan Church Cemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Wednesday October 14, 2009 from

 

3 PM to 9 PM, and Thursday October 15, 2009 from 9 AM until we leave in procession for the church at 2:30 PM.
