Clark Funeral Home Posted August 28, 2009 Report Share Posted August 28, 2009 Frank “Gene” Maxwell, age 63, of Buchanan, GA, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009. He was born November 30, 1945, in Toccoa, GA and was preceded in death by his parents, James Peyton Maxwell, Jr. & Vivian C. Maxwell and son, James Gregory Maxwell. Mr. Maxwell was an Electrician. Survivors include his daughters, Denise Maxwell Dill of Newnan, GA and Lisa Lackey of Buchanan, GA; daughter-in-law, Mary Maxwell of Dallas, GA; brother, Tommy Maxwell of Cedarbluff, AL; sisters & brothers-in-law, Jessie & Ken Nantz of Dallas, GA, Bertie Wilson of Flowery Branch, GA, and Eunice & Larry Gamel of Hiram, GA; grandchildren, Corey Maxwell, Cody Toler, Courtney Maxwell, Morgan Dill, Lindsey Toler, Madison Dill and Payton Lackey; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009, at 4:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Neil Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
