Funeral Director Posted July 18, 2009 Report Share Posted July 18, 2009 Mr. Troy M. Barnes age 58 of Dallas, Georgia passed away on July 17, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Barnes was born in Paulding County on October 15, 1950 the son of the late Arthur Marion Barnes and Mary Opal Harris Barnes. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Troy M. Barnes was a maintenance engineer and was employed by Paulding Memorial Hospital for several years. He was survived by two sons, Troy Jackson Barnes of Dallas, Ga., and Christopher Barnes of Taylorsville, Ga.; one daughter and son in law, Angel & Rodney Waters of Hiram, Ga.; two grandchildren, Caleb Waters and Chelsea Waters both of Hiram, Ga.; one brother, Robert Rollins of Dallas, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Marion Barnes and Mary Opal Harris Barnes; and one brother, Thomas Franklin Barnes. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday July 19, 2009 at 3 pm in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Emanuel Baptist Church Cemetery. Pall bearers include Kendall Waters, D. L. Waters, Dwight Waters, Derek Waters, and Jeff Rollins. Music provided by Olen and Helen Walker. The family is receiving friends on Saturday evening from 6pm until 9pm and on Sunday from 9am until the service begins at 3pm.
