Mrs. M. Marie Baxter

Mrs. M. Marie Baxter age 88 of Dallas, Georgia passed away at the Wellstar Paulding Nursing Center on July 2, 2009.

 

 

Mrs. Baxter was born in Dallas, Georgia on October 14, 1920 the daughter of the late Warner Osborne and Ola Bell Maner. She was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

 

 

She is survived by her sons, Larry Orell Baxter and Marshall Wayne Baxter both of Dallas, Ga.; 2 grandchildren, Dana Michelle Baxter of Douglasville, Ga. and Addie Baxter Cole of Marietta, Ga.; one great granddaughter, Kyrsten Lindsay & Jason Reece of Villa Rica, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orell “Dude” Baxter who passed away on March 26, 2004.

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. M. Marie Baxter will be held on Sunday July 5, 2009 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Reverend Benny Abney officiating. Music will be provided by Becky Beardon, pianist and Jeff Eberhart, soloist. Pall bearers include Harold Morris, Harlon Baxter, Jr., David Baxter, Douglas Baxter, Billy Joe Dodd, and James Buford. Interment services will be held at Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday July 4, 2009 from 6pm until 9pm and on Sunday from 9am until the service begins at 4pm.
