FreeBird
I haven't had the scanner on in months. I drove past the Cartersville airport yesterday and didn't see the Emory Flight chopper at its usual place. Looks like the crew quarters for the flight crew is now a Pheonix air building. Anyone know if EF3 is still in that area?
Ugadawgs98
Its gone....the company that owns Emory Flight merged with Rescue Air and shut down most of the bases. AJC. Air Methods already has five bases across the Atlanta area and North Georgia operating as Emory Flight, while Rescue Air has six bases in Atlanta and North Georgia. With the merger, six bases will survive, five will close and some employees will be laid off. The surviving bases will be in Covington, Gainesville, Griffin, Kennesaw, Newnan and a location serving the I-75 and I-575 corridors. Three will operate as Emory Flight and three will operate as Rescue Air. Life Force out of Calhoun has been getting much of the work here recently. Life Force.
