Funeral Director Posted June 1, 2009 Report Share Posted June 1, 2009 Mr. Silas Paul Pack age 78 of Dallas, Georgia passed away at his residence on May 31, 2009. Mr. Pack was born on February 23, 1932 in West Virginia, the son of the late Susie & Jess Pack. He was a devoted member of Crossroads Christian Center. Mr. Pack was retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked in the assembly line. Mr. Silas Pack is survived by his wife Mrs. Louise Beavers Pack to whom he has been married for 6 years; one son and daughter in law, Gary & Tina Pack of Atlanta, Ga; one daughter, Louise Ruth Pack of Tampa, Florida; 3 Stepchildren, Ricky & Shirley Caldwell of Dallas, Ga.; Kenny & Dawn Caldwell of Bowden, Ga.; Stephen & Misty Weaver of Dallas, Ga.; 10 grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren and many great grandchildren; two brothers & sisters in law, Sonny & Helen Pack of Indiana, Doug & Diana Pack of Tennessee; one sister & brother in law, Geneva & Perry Baker of Ohio. Funeral Services for Mr. Silas Pack will be held at Crossroads Christian Center on Wednesday June 3, 2009 at 4 PM with Reverend Wayne Landmon, Reverend Tim Landmon and Reverend Larry Baker officiating. Mr. Pack’s body will lie in state at the church from 3 PM until 4 PM. Pall bearers include, Gary Pack, Jr., Charles Walker, Paul Schaffer, Donnie Stephens , Waymon Landmon, Stephen Weaver, and Brian Walraven. Honorary Pall Bearers include Tyler Landmon, Ryan Landmon and Tony Mote. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart. Mr. Silas Pack will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Tuesday June 2, 2009 from 4 PM until 9 PM and again on Wednesday from 9 AM until leaving in procession for the church at approximately 3:30 PM.
