Mrs. Martha Jane Johnston

Mrs. Martha Jane Johnston age 87, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Wednesday April 8, 2009 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital.

 

Mrs. Johnston was born on August 26, 1921 in Gordon County, Ga. She was a loving wife and mother.

 

Mrs. Johnston is survived by two sons: Tommy Johnston of Dallas, Ga and George Johnston of Acworth, Ga; three Grandchildren: Christopher Johnston of North Carolina, Jeremy Johnston of Acworth, Ga and Susan Matthies of Woodstock, Ga; Great granddaughter: Jamie Johnston ; Sister: Clara Woodring of Calhoun, Ga. She is preceded in death by her husband: James Carl Johnston and both parents.

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Johnston will be held at the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 10, 2009 at 1:00pm with Rev. Thomas Cole officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart. Interment will follow the service in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Johnston will remain at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday April 9, 2009 from 3pm-8pm and again Friday from 9am until the service begins at 1pm.

 

Pallbearers are asked to meet at the funeral home on Friday by 12:15pm and they include: Tommy Johnston, George Johnston, Jeremy Johnston, Bill Westbrooks, Leonard Westbrooks and Richard Westbrooks.

 

The Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Martha Jane Johnston.
