Funeral Director Posted February 25, 2009 Report Share Posted February 25, 2009 Mr. Ralph Waits age 62 of Dallas, Georgia passed away on February 24, 2009 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Mr. Waits was born on January 23, 1947 in Fort Payne, Alabama to his late parents Buford Lee Waits and Edna Ruth Twilley Waits. He was of Baptist Faith. Mr. Waits was employed by Aieken Grading as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a loving husband and father. Mr. Waits is survived by his wife of 46 years: Lena Waits of Dallas, Ga; Daughter & Son in Law: Lynn & Phillip Gore of Dallas, Ga; Son: David Waits of Dallas, Ga; 6 grandchildren: Todd Gurley of Dallas, Ga, Jessica Gore of Dallas, Ga, Dustin Gore of Dallas, Ga, Mark Waits of Dallas, Ga, Ethan Waits of Dallas, Ga and Shae Waits of Dallas, Ga; Brother: Mark Waits of Dallas, Ga and Many other beloved family members and friends. Mr. Waits is preceded in death by his Father and Mother: Buford Lee Waits and Edna Ruth Twilley Waits; Brothers: Terry Waits and Harold Waits. Funeral Services will be held Friday February 27, 2009 at 2 pm in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Preacher Butch Cole officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart. Interment will follow in New Hope Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4pm to 9pm and again on Friday from 9am until the service begins at 2pm. Pall bearers are asked to meet at the funeral home Friday by 1:15pm and they include: Todd Gurley, Mark Waits, Ethan Waits, Shane Waits, Douglas Cole, James Gore.
