+subby1
Just a reminder- let me know if you have any mowers ready to scrap or other equipment. I was able to save a customer a good $70 by being able to use parts from old scrappers. Your unsightly broken equipment gets removed from your home/yard for free, and we all benefit in the end!!! Today I fixed a tiller that I just knew was ready for the junkyard when I picked it up. Well, as of this evening, it purrs like a pussycat, and is now a hybrid (Troy-Bilt, Craftsman, Tecumseh) tiller......and probably runs as well if not better than when it was new! After the past few years of consolidating the lawn equipment industry, you can rebuild almost anything with parts from almost any company. I oughta know, cause I just did! This saves you LOTS of $$$$. A regular shop will not do this, and you will definitely pay more. My goal is to gather broken down equipment and use the spare parts that are still good. I know I'll never make a bundle of cash from this, but it's something I enjoy, and I love the feeling of rebuilding a trashed out mower, tiller, etc. just for the self-gratification I get- plus the savings you get without having to run out and blow another $400 on a new machine, when yours can be fixed to run another 3-4 years (or longer) for 1/4 as much. Money is tight for everyone, so this is not just a way for me to pay my house payment- it's a way to help YOU not blow another 400 on something I can fix for much less, and knowing you can use it for another 3 more years, or more. Yes......I am starting to enjoy this a lot!!! I have a few bruises, cuts, and busted blood veins in my hands and fingers, but I still love this! And it makes me feel good to know I am helping people as much as they are helping me, without anyone getting a bad deal. So, please keep me in mind for your repairs, or to pick up your unwanted mowers and such. IMO, this is how a community takes care of its own....one of the few upsides to a crappy economy.....but a good upside, indeed!!

+subby1
How much would it cost to get a clutch put on a go cart? Do you do that? It's been a while, but sure I can do that. I'm not sure how much the clutches cost nowadays, but I could find out. PM me your address, and I'll try to drop by there today after lunch and have a look-see.
