FreeBird
This one has been going on 30-60 minutes. (maybe more - I've been busy with other things) Man stopped his car on 278 and started walking in woods, near a gravel road. He is now lost. DNR and SO is in the area trying to locate him by running their sirens. Man is on cell phone with dispatch.
FreeBird
officers are reporting to their captain that they think they have the man's location pin-pointed - just attempting to get to the location. Captain asking if the mule (that vehicle they use in the SCT) needs to be enroute and if it could get around on the terrain.
FreeBird
officer reports that the DNR ranger is hearing the man and headed to his location.
MamaJess
Poor guy! What'd he venture into the woods to tinkle or something?

FreeBird
sounds like the man is with the ranger - all units going in service I hope he appreciates the efforts of the officers to find him. Spending the night outside would not have been fun. I think he just went for a walk and got lost.

rednekkhikkchikk
Late afternoon is a terrible time of day to go for a walk in the woods this time of year. Gets dark before you realize it.
