Clark Funeral Home Posted August 3, 2008 Report Share Posted August 3, 2008 Helen Ruth Gravett, age 66, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2008. She was born in Dallas, GA, on May 26, 1942. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Ruff and brother, Calvin Ruff. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and was a member of Oakridge Baptist Church in Aragon, GA. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Gravett of Dallas; mother, Myrtle Ruth Ruff of Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law, Allen & Susan Crew of Dallas and Art & Tanya Crew of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Angie & Steve Hobbs of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, Harold & Sarah Ruff of Hiram; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Deems, Rev. Charles Sutton, Rev. Archie Streetman and Rev. Buddy Carter officiating. Billy Harrell, Romie Gravett, Jason Ruff, Chris Crew, Charles Holland and Grady Ruff will serve as pallbearers. Freddie Smith and Ernest Harrell will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Dallas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Link to post Share on other sites
