Estelle Hardy Jones, age 82, of Collinsville, AL, formerly of Hiram, GA, passed away at Gadsden Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL, on Thursday, March 27, 2008. She was born in Hiram, GA, on February 25, 1926, to the late Walker & Bessie Hardy, and was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Hardy and an infant sister.

Mrs. Jones was a lifelong member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, W. H. “Hollis” Jones of Collinsville, AL; son & daughter-in-law, Kent Jones & wife Jennifer of Collinsville, AL; grandchildren, Ben & Jen Jones, Austin Jones, and Hannah Grace Jones, all of Collinsville, AL.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 2:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home, with eulogies delivered by her son & daughter-in-law, Kent & Jennifer Jones, and Reverend Charles Brown officiating.

Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joel Hardy, Keith Hardy, Chris Hardy, Jimmy Jones, Loyd Jones, and Carlos Jones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
