Clark Funeral Home Posted March 14, 2008 Report Share Posted March 14, 2008 Barbara Jo Crider, age 62, of Cedartown, GA, (formerly of Hiram) passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2008. She was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, on May 29, 1945. Mrs. Crider was preceded in death by her father, Albert Smith, Jr. She was retired from Greystone Power Corporation. Survivors include her husband, George Crider of Cedartown; mother, Regina Sams; daughter & son-in-law, Laura Martin & husband, Shane of Douglasville; brother, Albert Thomas Smith, III of Canton; sisters & brothers-in-law, Elizabeth (Bette) Webb & husband, Larry of Snellville, and Sandy Marks & husband, Jim of Canton; one grandchild, Will Martin; and many nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2008, at 4:00pm, from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Reverend Lamar Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park. The pallbearers will be Jeff Cole, Slaton Crider, Jason McMichael, Thomas Smith, Bobby Watson, and Nick Alsobrook. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
