Clark Funeral Home Posted January 9, 2008 Report Share Posted January 9, 2008 (edited) Wyatt Coleman Bell, age 80, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2008. He was born in Demopolis, Alabama, on October 14, 1927, and was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Coleman Bell & Donnie Viola Holland Bell; and son, Ronald Coleman Bell. Serving his country in the Army, Navy, and Marines, Mr. Bell was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He worked for Lockheed for 38 years and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Margaret Crowe Bell of Hiram; daughters & sons-in-law, Lydia Williams of Marietta, Myra Susan Orihvela & husband Dan of Tampa, FL, Donnie Lynn Elliott of Atlanta, and Rachel Wynette White & husband Doug of Dallas; sister, Ione Bell Bivens of Dallas; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Bell will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008, at 11:00am, from New Hope Baptist Church, with Reverend Durwood Perry and Reverend Frank Crowe. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 31 Bobo Road, Dallas, GA 30132.
