Ruth Catherine Sawicki, age 78, of Hiram, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2007. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on September 21, 1929. Her parents, Frank & Joanna Orash, preceded her in death. Mrs. Sawicki enjoyed gardening, shopping and dancing. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Leonard Paul Sawicki of Hiram; son & daughter-in-law, Kenneth Sawicki & wife Karen of Seven

Valleys, Pennsylvania; daughters & son-in-law, Jody Maloy of Dallas and Lisa Buck & husband David of Jarretsville, Maryland; sister & brother-in-law, Mildred Seidenzahl & husband Irvin, Towson, Maryland; three grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 24, 2007, at

11:00 am, from Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 680 W. Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA 30132.

My prayers go out to this family. I had the pleasure of knowing then both as patient's with Pinnacle Orthopaedics. Mr. and Mrs. Sawicki were the sweetest couple. May she rest in peace.
