Dean Alva Mason, age 66, of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2007. He was born in Pasadena, California, on October 10, 1941. Mr. Mason was preceded in death by his parents, Alva E. & Marguerite Mason. He was an engineer for General Telephone.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Mason of Dallas; son, Daniel Mason of Augusta; daughter & son-in-law, Deborah Ward & husband Ronald of Dallas; brother & sister-in-law, Dale Mason & wife Sharon of Covina, CA; sisters & brother-in-law, Janice Druay & husband Richard of Wichita, KS, and Wanda Mason of Seattle, WA; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2007, at 6:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00pm until the service time.
