Drivers in the Dabbs Bridge Rd area are making drop offs door to door due to heavy weather in area. Little Johnny may be a little later getting home today.

You gotta be kidding?? It's that bad over there?

OOOOHHH!! I just walked outside and looked in that direction and it is really dark!!

yes - heavy rain and thunder - rain has slacked up now, but thunder is still heavy in the area.

warning system is still activated (dogs under desk making sure I am okay)

bus 51 - requesting directions on going door to door - reports light rain and thunder.

this was a no brainer - door to door

there is a law in the state of ga. (alaina law) stating that a bus is go the same route

every day, same stops and p-ups. that is why bus 51 was asking for permission to

go door to door. we can't vary from our route, unless, we heard from the bus shop

51 advised that there light rain and thunder in the area. He asked if he should go door to door - base came back and confirmed that there was thunder and then advised to go door to door.

In other cases I have heard a driver advise that there was severe weather in the area and that they advised base that that they were going door to door.

The driver on 51 is new and probably needed to confirm the right procedure.
