quilter
there is a law in the state of ga. (alaina law) stating that a bus is go the same route every day, same stops and p-ups. that is why bus 51 was asking for permission to go door to door. we can't vary from our route, unless, we heard from the bus shop
FreeBird
51 advised that there light rain and thunder in the area. He asked if he should go door to door - base came back and confirmed that there was thunder and then advised to go door to door. In other cases I have heard a driver advise that there was severe weather in the area and that they advised base that that they were going door to door. The driver on 51 is new and probably needed to confirm the right procedure.
