Clark Funeral Home Posted October 9, 2007 Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 Donald Edward Tyrrell, age 85, of Dallas, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2007. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, on May 2, 1922. His parents, Walter Tyrrell & Alice Dueweke Tyrrell; son, Thomas Tyrrell; and sister, Virginia Hentges, preceded him in death. Mr. Tyrrell was originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, also lived in Florida for many years and was currently a resident of Georgia. Mr. Tyrrell was a veteran of World War II serving in the Marines and Navy. He worked for 40 plus years as a sales manager for hospital linen services and was a member of North Metro Church. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, June LaCourse Tyrrell of Dallas; son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Marcia Tyrrell of Langhorne, PA; daughter, Carrie Tyrrell Harris of Marietta; brothers & sisters-in-law, Virgil “Bud” Tyrrell, Patrick & Pete Tyrrell, Walter “Mickey” Tyrrell and Robert & Sharon Tyrrell, all of Michigan; sister & brother-in-law, Helen & Bob Ross of Michigan; sisters-in-law, Michele Pomeroy of Indiana, and Patricia & William Burgoyne of Michigan; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
