Mrs. Claudine Blankenship Pickens, age 73 of Dallas, GA passed away August 08, 2007 at the Wellstar Nursing Center. Born to the late Glen Blankenship and Bertha Parker Blankenship Mrs. Pickens was a homemaker and a Jehovah Witness.

 

The family will have a memorial service at the Pickett's Mill Baptist Church on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 11AM with the Rev. Tony Samples officiating. The body was cremated.

 

Mrs. Pickens is survived by her sons; John Pickens, Jr. of Dallas, GA, Thomas Pickens of Gulf Shores, Al, daughters; Cynthia Densloe of North Carolina, Jennifer Pickens of Dallas, GA, Jodie Rodriguez of Dallas, GA, brothers; Horman Blankenship of Centre, Al, Thomas Blankenship, of Dallas, GA, sister; Lois Suafford of Dallas, GA, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband; John D. Pickens, parents; Glen and Bertha Blankenship, brothers; Maurice Blankenship and Eugene Blankenship.
