Mrs. Maggie Henderson Waters

Mrs. Maggie Henderson Waters, age 79 of Hiram, died Wednesday, August 1.

She was born in Gordon Co., GA the daughter of the late John Daniel and Tensley Duvall Henderson.

She was a homemaker and a member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Abner Waters, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law , Ramona and Stanley Whitfield of Hiram;

her sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Elaine Waters, John and Arlene Waters,

and Roger and Denice Waters, all of Hiram; her sister, Jonnie Lou Hall of Douglasville; 12 grandchildren,

and 16 great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 3 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bellamy Funeral Home in Hiram

with Rev. James Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Flint Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will recieve friends on Thursday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.

I am so sorry for the family's loss. I pass her house every day. I've never seen her, but I saw there had recently been some activity at the little bait shop across the road from her house. So sad.

She was a wonderful lady and one that will be greatly missed
