HIRAM, GEORGIA 30141 770-445-7133 FAX 770-505-7273 Cook Mr. Albert Blake Cook, age 87, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2007. He was born on August 16, 1919 in Heard Co., Georgia to the late Charlie R. Cook Sr. and Janie Ware Cook. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Cook; his children, Richard Blake Cook Sr., Terri Cason, Mark Anthony Cook and Jerry Daniel Cook; his brother and sisters, Charlie R. Cook Jr., Thelma Price and Aileen Corpening. Surviving are his sons and daughter-in-law, Don & Irene Cook of Lagrange, GA and Billy Cook of Dallas; daughters and sons-in-law, Hannah & Tommy Gamel of Rockmart and Sharon & Sammy Bowman of Dallas; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with his grandson, Mr. James Cook officiating. The interment will follow in New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with his grandsons, Richard Cook, Nick Cook, Jason Cook, Nathan Gamel, Derek Cason, Benjamin Bowman and Chad Cook serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
