  1. Clark Ambulance was fully prepared to cover the county's 911 needs and the Air Show's needs until last minute when they RECEIVED an email staing thier services would not be needed. It is true Clark Ambulance requested a small sum of money to cover over time expenses to staff 3 extra ambulances that would be dedicated to the Airport, after all the rest of the county's public safety personnel were on approved over time. Thank you to Metro, Puckett and Ambucare for being there incase needed. THANK YOU to Clark Ambulance for being prepared as always and for being there for 20+ years providing emer
  2. LisaC, You are asking a valid question , I will attempt to answer the question for you. If Sam were to use the ambulance service to suggest the use of his funeral home when needed or use the corners office to do the same this would definitely be a conflict of interest. I can guarantee you this does not happen and by the overwhelming responses we have seen in this thread there is further proof that these positions are treated with the respect they deserve by Sam and all his staff. As for being a conflict of interest for one to help get or retain the other this also just not true. As stated ear
  3. Well said Georgia Tornado. Noahsdad is definately not helping the Jeff Eberhart campaign with all the negativity.
  4. This post makes me laugh, it shows a lack of understanding and the need only to try and cause controversy. Why does it matter if the same person or company handles the dead body multiple times? Everything being done is in accordance with the laws and regulations that guide in each situation, more importantly the families of and the deceased are give the highest level of respect and comfort available to them during such a difficult time.
  5. Absolutely not, the majority of the bodies go straight to the funeral home that the family has pre arranged or the family arranges at the time of death. The coroners office in no way assist or iunfluences the decision as to what funeral home a family decides to use. There are instances that the body goes straight to the GBI for autopsy and a few that have a need to be held until a family can be notified or a funeral home of the families choice can arrive to pick up the deceased.
  6. The position of Paulding County Coroner is elected by the citizens of Paulding County, the Emergency Services contract is awared by the State of Georgia. Clark Ambulance was in business and had Paulding Counties Emergency Services contract several years before Sam Clark was elected coroner. One is totally seperate from the other.
