YoAmish Posted March 16, 2012 Report Share Posted March 16, 2012 (edited) Posting for the family of Jerry, Joy, and Jacob Sharp. Also Ron, Sonya (Sharp), Travis and Lisa English. Mr. J.W. Sharp, age 88 of Austell, passed away March 15, 2012. Mr Sharp served in the United States Navy during World War II, retired from Wilson's Food and then retired from Atlanta Provisions. He was member of Davis Chapel Baptist Church; he loved his garden, gospel music, and most of all his family. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Pauline Allen Sharp; daughter, Theresa Womack of Dallas; sons, Jerry Sharp of Douglasville, Danny Joe Sharp of Douglasville, Michael Anthony Sharp of Dallas, Phillip Sharp of Mableton; forty-nine grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 til 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Travis Clayton officiating. Interment will follow at Davis Cemetery.
