I've been using Safari for a couple of years. I like it, but do have some problems with the "remember me" function on some websites. So make sure you keep up with your passwords.

Our state just doesn't do the death penalty, not really..... But at least on death row he's not living the life regular inmates are. Ultimately we need to be safe from him so as long as he gets a sentence that has no possability for parole I will take it.
Sick minds or minds altered by whatever don't think of consequences. Unfortunately men like him re offend and re offend and slip by till something like this happens or they die. Needs to be way stiffer penalties for 1st time offenders for certain crimes.
Some of these violent criminals would think twice if the "stiffer penalty" was a sure and swift trip to the death chamber!!!

I heard the verdict on the news earlier today. It was mentioned that the defense in closing arguments tried to place "reasonable doubt" by stating that the police didn't check for blood evidence under her fingernails. For crying out loud, from what I understand her mouth (sorry) was full of his blood!And as far as him being on death row for 20 years - it wouldn't be the first time.
Anyone remember this famous brutal Georgia murder?

Regardless of who was at fault I would still love to know the condition of this man.
And, as hard as it was for me to see his lifeless body lying there I can only imagine how the people who tried to help him felt, my heart goes out to him.
PUBBY---is there any way you can find out his condition. I can live without knowing his name or any personal info. I just want to know if he made it.

treasure, when I came through, there were 2 police cars but no medical yet. I was 3 cars from the red light on Bill Carruth and I clearly saw the man raise his head up, so he was alive!!!!

What people do not realize is the officer sees you before you see him and is already building a tracking history. You are clipimg along at 70 in a 55 zone and you see what looks like some kind of automobile on the side of the road, subconsciously you start to decelerate, as you approach the automobile you realize that it is a law enforcement vehicle and let off the accelerator and look down to check your speed and WHEW, you are at 66 in a 55 no biggie. So the officer pulls you over and writes you a ticket for 70 in a 55, the 70 you were doing before you noticed the car on the side of the road, you are livid, the officer is wrong because you looked at your speedometer when you first realized that it was an officer and you were doing 66. The officer can tell exactly when you start to notice him also. He sees you coming estimates your speed and then activates his radar and the target speed shows 70, he observes a constant 70 for a bit and then watches as it slowly drops a few MPH and then all of the sudden BAM a 5-10 MPH drop almost instantly, yep they have recognized the police car.
And don’t forget that the speedometers are not certified as far as their calibration goes, so they could be off by a few MPH one way or the other. Changes in tire and rim sixe will also have an effect on the accuracy of the speedometer.
Don’t believe me? Go on a ride along with a traffic unit and see just exactly how it works, if you are open minded and willing to learn something I think you will see things in a different light.
But from previous threads that have turned in to “bashacop” threads where "stories" were posted with the intent to discredit law enforcement and were exposed as blatant lies and truth fell upon deaf ears (or eyes) , I doubt any one would be interested in learning the truth anyway.
Ya know, there are plenty of folks out there doing 20+ over the limit; we don’t need to make $h1t up just to make cases.

The "good news" about this was what I saw the CDC present last night information wise. They've been actively studying this virus, and learning everything about it that they can. It appears that the H1N1 (they don't want it called "swine flu") is missing an essential amino acid that viruses need to replicate. So, that means it doesn't replicate all that well, all that fast, and could be the cause for it being weaker here in the States as it's spread.
Otherwise, people need to continue to be proactive, and do the things they can to prevent them catching it - be that the H1N1, or the "standard" flu. Hand washing is of the utmost importance, keeping personal space when around others, coughing/sneezing into one's arm, wearing a medical grade respirator/mask when in public.... and hand washing, hand washing, hand washing!

I was really ticked off about Eli Stone and Kyle XY. Those were both GREAT, AWESOME, WONDERFUL shows!!! I don't know what is wrong with those execs. I guess neither had enough skin in the shows or something.
I've been part of a "fan campaign" to try to Kyle XY back on the air, but I don't know that it's worked. The second hope would be that the FX channel would pick it up instead.If they cancel Medium, I may have to form a revolt. Who's with me?

Anyone follow Prison Break last season??? I quit watching and have no idea what ended up happening...got too far fetched for me!We watched the first 2 or 3 seasons and we loved it, but like you said, it became so far fetched and if you missed just one episode, you were totally lost!
