Mr. Rick “Papa” Robertson, age 62 of Dallas, GA, died Friday morning, August 22, 2014, at his residence following an extended illness. Rick was born in Atlanta, GA, on May 8, 1952, the son of the late Arthur Bandy Robertson and Patsy Ruth Wheeler Dunn. He was a heavy equipment operator for a number of years and was associated with Georgia Pipeline and Hauling. Rick loved deer and turkey hunting, was an avid Braves fan and always enjoyed watching NASCAR races. Mrs. Jean Craton Silbaugh, age 82, of Dallas, GA, died Saturday morning, August 23, 2014, at her residence. A native of Paulding County, Jean was born on June 13, 1932, the daughter of the late Rev. John Phillip Craton and Irma Lee Gurley Craton. She had been a resident of Dallas and Paulding County for most of her life. Jean was a school teacher for over 31 years, retiring in 1994 from Douglas County Schools. She had served as Superintendent of Schools for Paulding County from 1980 until 1984. Mr. Jerry Leroy Waters, age 74, of Rockmart passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 13, 2014. Jerry was born in Monroe, IA on May 18, 1940 to loving parents the late Mr. Albert Leroy Waters and Mrs. Mary Alice Painter-Waters-Gouch. Jerry served in the United State Air Force as a parachute rigger. He also worked for worked at Home Depot for 25 years. Mr. Marion Andrew Hayes, age 61, of Dallas passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 10, 2014. Marion was born in Douglasville, GA on November 2, 1952 to loving parents the late Mr. Andrew Hayes and Mrs. Mae Hayes. Marion worked as a plumber with GLT Plumbing, Inc. for many years. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of New Smyrna Methodist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed guitar and all music, painting, writing poetry, and enjoyed spending time with his family and his friends. . Mrs. Audrey Marie Theuret Sanzari, age 83, of Dallas passed away peacefully at Wellstar Nursing and Rehab Center on Friday, July 4, 2014. Audrey was born in Hudson, New Jersey on March 11, 1931 to loving parents the late Mr. William Theuret and Mrs. Helen Rubner Theuret. Audrey worked in communications as a switchboard operator for Bergen Pines Hospital for many years. She was of the Episcopal faith and enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends.
